Front Desk Attendant
Application Deadline: October 2, 2024The Front Desk Attendant engages and welcomes all people into the facility. They serve as the primary point of contact for all information inquiries while maintaining secure use of the facility to members and guests. They provide accurate information regarding facility memberships, programs and causes. The Front Desk Attendant processes transactions involving program registration and receipting of registration fees. The position also organizes and helps maintain the entire facility. They must be able to thrive in a demanding environment with the unique challenges of a non-profit community service organization. The Front Desk Attendant is responsible for providing current information and excellent member service as it relates to the front desk. Must have transportation. An outgoing personality is a must!
Work Schedule: Monday – Wednesday 5:00am to 11:00am
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS
Secures information via telephone or personal contact; selects appropriate materials to answer questions.

Greet incoming and outgoing patrons.
Monitors scanners.
Makes photo ID’s for members.
Attend meetings and trainings as necessary.
Signs up members and participants for programs, memberships, etc. and receipts as necessary.
Answer incoming calls.
Gives tours of the facility.
Disburses current program and membership information.
Opening and closing duties as assigned.
Ensure all safety and risk management procedures are adhered to.
Cleaning and organizing duties.
Monitors the facility.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Must be mature and the ability to remedy situations calmly.
Ability to handle and process money.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Good work ethic.
Capable of multi-tasking.
Comfort in working with diverse individuals and organizations.
Ability to handle difficult situations.
Ability to learn and implement ICPRD’s software program.
Ability to work as part of a team.
CPR, AED and First Aid Certification (or will agree to become certified within one month of employment).
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to perform active work exerting up to 45 pounds of force occasionally.
Must possess the visual acuity to prepare and analyze data and figures, to operate a computer, and to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.
DESIRABLE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Ages 16+
Valid Driver’s License
Customer Service Experience: Two (2) years (Preferred)
Compensation Type: Hourly
Compensation Range: $13.9098 - $21.6993
